Something Old

This is from Golden Compass, and I think it's the first matte painting I did to make it on film. (There were a number of other paintings I did for Golden Compass, but the sequence was cut.) The original plate is on the left.

Fast & Furious Matte Paintings

These were done for the opening tanker sequence of Fast & Furious. Top 2 are 2d matte paintings, bottom 2 are projected onto geometry, with background mountains done by Rich Mahon.
